City Guides

The halls worth knowing in a city or region, ranked for different kinds of climber.

City Guides pull individual gym profiles together into a decision aid. Every guide opens with the city’s bouldering scene in a few lines: how many halls, what the typical price level looks like, and whether the scene skews compy or classic. Then the halls are presented with their essentials and a short verdict on who each one suits, so a visitor can pick a hall the way locals would: best for steep terrain, best for beginners, best for training, best location.

Guides cover capitals and climbing hubs first, then secondary cities as the catalogue grows. Each guide links out to the full gym profile for every hall it mentions. City guides are updated as prices and halls change; the update date is always visible, and out-of-date pricing is never repeated without a fresh stamp.
