Magdeburg's first dedicated bouldering hall — ~1,000m² with weekly sector reset.
BlocSchmiede is Magdeburg's first and largest dedicated bouldering hall, opened in 2018 by Micha Weidner and Torsten Paulix in the Neustädter Höfe industrial yard at Lübecker Straße 53-63 (Building 16A). The hall offers around 1,000m² of bouldering across seven sectors with one sector fully reset every week, so the route pool turns over quickly. Beginners, families and advanced climbers all find appropriate problems, and there are dedicated kids' courses, youth groups and birthday-party packages. Bus 71 to Hopfenbreite is the closest stop and there's plenty of parking on site.
