Thuringia's first dedicated bouldering hall, founded 2009, on Motzstraße in central Erfurt.
Blockpark on Motzstraße 8 was Thuringia's first hall purpose-built for jumping-height climbing when it opened in 2009, and it remains Erfurt's main dedicated boulderhalle. The wall mix covers slabs through steep overhangs across all grades, with regular reset cycles and a training corner with system board and hangboards. There's a kids and family area plus a small bistro, and the hall is just a short walk from Erfurt Hauptbahnhof and central tram stops. The DAV-style climbing centre Nordwand Erfurt is the rope-climbing alternative in town.
