BLOCKHELDEN Erlangen is the Frankenjura's flagship bouldering hall, opened in 2012 and now sprawled across roughly 3,500m² in Bubenreuth on the edge of Erlangen. Named after the spiritual home of German sport climbing (and addressed on Kurt-Albert-Straße in honor of the Frankenjura legend), the hall offers hundreds of boulders across all grades, a separate kids' world, a large training area, and the Heldenbistro café. The route style draws on Franconian sandstone tradition — technical, varied, often crimpy. The mothership of the BLOCKHELDEN brand, with sister halls in Bamberg.
